This Australian Ibis is a majestic lady indeed! She features a fancy crown (because she is QUEEN ibis) 3D eyelashes and tiny mirror stoned crown. Did you know Ibis were worshipped by Egyptians? They are prolific characters in many cultures historical references and should be treated as such. I have always loved Ibis but this brooch is made to represent them in a positive light and do away with the term Bin Chicken forever!

Imelda is made from black glitter perspex which is flat and shiny on the surface but has incredible depth and her beak is a coordinating black perspex. She is made from three distinct layers, backed in black backing layer to intensify her colour, and she has a beautiful little glittery gold crown with teal mirror stones. And guess what?, she also has 3D eye lashes which stick out from the brooch and add wonderful depth and fun. They are secured into the brooch and will wear over time, so avoid rubbing them against layers of your clothing or against other objects.

Imelda Earrings are made from two layers of perspex, including a tiny 3D crown layer. They are plain red with pink mirror crowns and silver highlights.

These brooches are made in limited numbers and are likely to never be repeated exactly the same, ever again.

Each brooch comes packed on a backing card. They will be shipped boxed and only sent tracked internationally.
This brooch is approximately 10cm high, please see photos for scale. Each one is designed based on my original illustrations & made from laser cut perspex, hand painted and assembled in Sydney, Australia. Each brooch is backed in perspex and is made from three layers of acrylic which is sturdy and will last a lifetime. The lashes are fully adhered into the brooch but are likely to wear over time. Avoid rubbing your brooch against your bag strap, or pulling on the lashes as they may come loose with

Each brooch is hand made and as such there may be small inconsistencies in the paint work, assembly and laser cutting. Please be aware no brooch is likely to be perfect, there may be glue marks, teeny scratches on the perspex or from this item being made by hand.

I do go to great lengths to make everything to a standard I would be happy to receive, but please be aware I am only one person and I may miss things.

Please note I do not refund or offer returns on my items as they are very limited edition and as such I do not offer returns or exchanges. I also don't want things broken in the post upon return, so please choose carefully before you check out.

All brooches are sent safely packed in a mailing box, world wide. I use standard red satchels or express post within Australia and tracked airmail everywhere else.
